Because our packages are tailored, our team works with you before confirmation to ensure every detail is right. This booking policy sets out the full terms that govern your reservation.

We encourage guests to contact our team before booking to discuss package options, customisation, and what best suits their group. Your booking is confirmed only after full payment has been received and written confirmation has been issued by our team. Book early; availability is limited for New Year’s Eve. Full payment is required to confirm your booking. Guests under 18 may not independently transact on our website.

Booking Confirmation

A written confirmation will be sent once payment is received, detailing your package — Dhow Cruise, Mega Dhow Cruise, Dinner Cruise, Shared Yacht, Mega Yacht, or Private Yacht — departure time, boarding location, inclusions, customisation arrangements, transfer details, and booking reference. Please review all details carefully and contact us immediately if anything requires correction.

Customisation Terms

Customisation requests — including decoration, catering, dietary requirements, entertainment, and special occasion arrangements — must be submitted and confirmed in writing before the event date. We cannot guarantee arrangements that have not been confirmed in advance. Customisation add-ons confirmed at the time of booking are subject to the same cancellation terms as the main package.

Guest Numbers and Documentation

Final guest numbers must be confirmed before the event. All guests are required to carry valid identification:

• Tourists: Original passport
• UAE Residents: Emirates ID, Emirates Driving Licence, and passport

Guests who cannot provide the identification required for their booking or boarding may be denied boarding. Guests under 21 must be supervised by a responsible adult.

Amendments

Amendment requests must be submitted as early as possible. Given the bespoke nature of our packages and the fixed date of the event, amendments close to New Year’s Eve may not be possible. Customisation changes requested within 14 days of the event are subject to feasibility and may incur additional costs. Any approved customisation that changes the package price will be subject to the applicable price difference. Any applicable additional cost will be communicated before the amendment is confirmed.

Cancellations & Refunds

Refunds are available only in accordance with the cancellation schedule below. No refunds will be provided outside the circumstances and timelines specified in this table.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and confirmed by our team. Refund eligibility will be determined based on the date and time the cancellation request is received. No refund will be provided for cancellations or circumstances that fall outside the applicable refund schedule.

Operator Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel, postpone, delay, or modify an event due to adverse weather, Coast Guard or government restrictions, port or marina restrictions, safety concerns, operational emergencies, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Where possible, we will offer a suitable alternative arrangement, subject to availability. All bookings remain subject to our applicable no-refund policy.

Changes to Event Details

While we make every effort to deliver the experience described at the time of booking, operational, safety, weather, or regulatory requirements may require changes to the vessel, route, boarding location, timings, entertainment, or other event details. Where such changes occur, we will notify affected guests as soon as reasonably possible and provide the applicable alternative arrangements.

Onboard Rules and Conduct

• Life jackets must be worn whenever instructed by the captain or coastguard
• Littering or dumping waste in the water is prohibited
• Alcohol abuse or reckless behaviour may result in termination of the charter without refund
• Jumping from the vessel while anchored or underway is strictly prohibited
• Guests under 21 must be supervised by a responsible adult
• The captain’s instruction is final. Abusive behaviour toward crew results in immediate removal without refund

No-Shows

Guests not at the confirmed boarding location at the agreed time without prior notice will be treated as a no-show. No refund will be issued.

Liability

Dubainewyearcelebration.com, a digital subsidiary of Travel Saga Tourism, takes reasonable steps to support guest safety and event quality. We are not responsible for delays, changes, or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
